About your trip

THE EMPOWERED TRANSITIONS: AFTER THE SHATTER — THE LIMINAL SPACE RETREAT
Facilitated by Trauma Resolution Specialist and Therapist, Laura Weber Garrison, Ph.D.

Storms pass. What remains is truth.

This retreat is your place to Recalibrate, Restore, and Reclaim.

Is This for You?

You’re not new to healing. You’ve done the work—therapy, reflection, maybe other retreats. A shift is here. You want direction, integration, and a structured place to land and begin again.

You’re navigating a major transition—grief, reinvention, burnout, or deep personal change—and you need more than rest. You need traction. If that resonates, this is for you.

Why Join Us

You’re in the liminal space—the in-between. Grieving, rebuilding, redefining.

You’ve been supported and challenged. You’ve built scaffolding. You’ve grown.

Now you’re ready for what comes after insight: embodiment.

This isn’t a feel-good escape or a detox week. It’s an immersive, trauma-informed container where you move from insight to integration—with clear structure, skilled support, and community that gets it.

What to Expect

  • Immersive experiences & intensives to process, restore hope, and reconnect with strength.

  • Trauma-informed practices & workshops that transform difficulty into resilience, growth, and clarity.

  • Meaningful connection & play that support renewal and a sense of shared purpose.

Where We’ll Be (and why we’re keeping it quiet)

We’ll be ensconced in a beautiful, dedicated space. We’re intentionally keeping the location under wraps—an invitation to trust the process, trust yourself, and step into something new without prejudging. Exact directions and arrival details follow registration.

What we can share now

  • Quiet, comfortable accommodations (shared or private)

  • Beautiful, lovingly prepared meals

  • Indoor practice space + direct access to nature

  • Hot tea and drinks available 24/7

  • Clear pre-arrival guidance, packing list, and support

A Place of Restoration

Within 220 acres of wild, undeveloped forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the land is returning to itself—free of chemicals, supported by thriving ecosystems, and graced by a 100-foot waterfall. It’s more than a backdrop; it’s a quiet partner in the work.

Our premise is simple: self-discovery requires safety, healing deepens in community, and every body, every story, every soul belongs.

What We’ll Explore Together

🧠 Brain–Body Impact of Trauma
How trauma reshapes safety and perception; navigating chronic stress, pain, and fatigue.

💔 Grief, Loss & Emotional Entanglements
Untangling sadness, guilt, shame—and the anger that hides underneath.

🧘 Returning to the Wisdom of the Body
Restorative somatics, mindfulness, movement; rebuilding trust in your inner signals.

🔓 Releasing Patterns That No Longer Serve
Compassionate work with avoidance, self-sabotage, and reactive coping—toward real shifts.

🌱 Resetting Your Compass
Visioning what’s next; aligned goals; a steady, practical path forward.

🎭 Joy, Creativity & Play in Healing
Transformation also includes lightness—creative, connective, alive.
